Parent Child Program:

The Curriculum is based on personalized early childhood development as well as Positive Discipline Parenting strategies. 

• Week 1: Your child’s communication

• Week 2: Eating awareness and nutrition

• Week 3: Supporting sleep and rest

• Week 4: Emotional development

The Daily Schedule includes adult discussion time, two music times, active playtime, and social time for friendships and personal questions.

Note: Class community is encouraged; everyone has fun learning about her/his child.

About the Facilitator:

Bonnie Vandenberg raised her two children in Thousand Oaks. Becoming a mother inspired Bonnie to dedicate her life to early childhood education and adult education, with a specialty in music enrichment. She loves to help parents and educators with Positive Discipline strategies, and donates parenting support to the Acorn newspaper through her business “Ask Ms. Bonnie”. Bonnie currently supports families and children in all areas of parenting including music enrichment, positive discipline and emotional regulation curriculum. She can’t wait to meet you and your amazing child.
